Imagine a CD player with only two control buttons. It does the same thing others CD players do, it plays music. But it does it much better!
The CDP4A delivers on this promise, and delivers with class. From it's award winning design, simple controls and outstanding sound, it is a piece of art. A functional sculpture, if you want.
No other CD player on the market can match HEGEL® CDP4A when it comes to reproduce the analog music experience that is recorded on a CD.
On it's advanced surface mounted converter card, the player has true balanced multilevel 24 bit 352 kHz DAC with synchronous upsampling.
The left control button does, in addition to being the On/Off button, allow you to navigate between the different tracks on the CD. The right button opens and closes the CD tray, as well as starting and stopping the playback. It is ultimately easy to operate, and fits beautifully with the other HEGEL system components.
CDP4A has both digital and analog outputs for different types of connectors. The balanced digital port is perfect for use with an external DA-converter, DAT- or MD-player, or with music data transfer to PC or CD-recorder.
The CDP4A can be used with any type music system, but to fully take advantage of HEGEL®'s revolutionary music reproduction, we recommend that you use our CDP4A in combination with our amplifiers and preamplifiers
The sleek remote control RC2 is included with the player.
